Why Combine Rust and Kotlin Multiplatform?

Prerequisites and Project Setup
Before diving in, ensure you have:
- Rust 1.75+ with cargo installed.
- Kotlin 1.9+ and IntelliJ IDEA or Android Studio with KMP plugin.
- Xcode for iOS (macOS only).
- NDK for Android native builds.
Create a new KMP project:

Building the Rust Library
Start with a Rust crate for your logic. We’ll implement a simple matrix multiplication benchmark—perfect for showcasing speed.

Integrating into Kotlin Multiplatform

For native targets, configure cinterop or link the libs manually.
First, publish your Rust bindings as a multiplatform artifact. Use a tool like cargo-kotlin or manual Gradle tasks for simplicity.

Android Integration
For Android (JVM target), use JNI. UniFFI handles this via generated Kotlin/JNI stubs.
